Volunteer Details – October 31, 2026

📍 Crowell Recreation Center

16630 Lahser Rd., Detroit, MI 48219

🎃 Event: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Lift The Block volunteers will help us participate in the Trunk-or-Treat portion of the event. Volunteers may assist with:

Setting up and decorating our trunk/display before the event

Passing out candy and treats to children

Welcoming and interacting with families

Keeping our area organized and stocked throughout the event

Helping with cleanup once Trunk-or-Treat ends

Volunteer arrival: I’d have everyone arrive around 3:15 PM so you have enough time to get situated and decorate before families arrive at 4:00.

Since it’s Halloween, I’d also tell volunteers they’re welcome to wear a family-friendly costume or a Lift The Block shirt.
