Lift The Block is proud to partner with Williams Recreation Center for our upcoming Father’s Day Game Day Cookout. We are seeking volunteers to help create a fun, welcoming, and engaging experience for fathers, families, and community members.

Volunteer Shift: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Williams Recreation Center
Volunteer Responsibilities
• Assist with setup of the Lift The Block table
• Welcome and engage families throughout the event
• Distribute healthy snacks to participants
• Assist with raffle basket entries and prize drawings
• Share information about Lift The Block programs and services
• Support community outreach and resource connections
• Help maintain a welcoming and organized environment
About the Event
The Father’s Day Game Day Cookout will bring together fathers, families, and community members for an afternoon of games, food, fellowship, and community connection. Activities will include horseshoes, dominoes, card games, refreshments, raffle baskets, and opportunities to connect with local resources and community partners.

Lift The Block x Alternatives For Girls
Lift The Block is seeking volunteers to support our upcoming event in partnership with Alternatives For Girls.
This will be a small, intentional experience created to encourage, uplift, and support the girls in a safe and positive environment.
Volunteers may assist with setup, greeting, organizing supplies, distributing meals or care items, engaging with participants, and helping with cleanup.
We are looking for volunteers who are dependable, respectful, and passionate about serving women, children, and families with dignity and care.
